Lakme Absolute Illuminating shimmer brick Pink

Lakme came up with the Sayasachi collection which is a limited editon awhile ago. This range has two blushes aka shimmer bricks. One is more on the pink, rosey gold side and the other one is on the peachier( if thats a word) side.
They have seriously set their game up with the recent launches. And i am so glad that they have changed up their formulas a bit that it feels a little more high end now.

                             Price: INR 725

The texture is quite soft, not at all chalky. You can use all the colours mixed together, they give a subtle rose gold glow..

You can use all the shades individually or mix them together. They all are perfect for a wedding/function makeup. It photographs so well as if you are glowing from within.
I have been really impressed with the lakme producs lately.

I really admire this blush, with the right amount of pigment and perfect texture. this is a must buy.

Lakme 9 to 5 Lip & cheek colour ( blush velvet & coffee lite)

This has to be my most delayed review ever as i bought these the day they were launched i.e. about a month ago. But hearing so many mixed reviews here and there, i wanted to take my time and test these out thoroughly.

Price: INR 575

The lakme lip&cheek colors are supposed to be used as a lipcolour and a blush as well. They come with a variety of 10 shades out of which i bought two. I bought these in the shade blush velvet and coffee lite, both of which are nudes and perfect to be used as daily wear blushes as well.

  • These come with a doughfoot applicator with a pointy top so it is quite easy to apply on your cupidsbow and edges of your lips. The brush also picks up the right amount of product and spreads evenly.
  • They have a quite soft moussy texture, which i really like.
  • They dont apply patchy..
  • Perfect to be used as blushes for a more natural look.
  • They do transfer in the initial minutes of the application but after around 10 minutes when they completely dry out, they dont budge. I wore this for eight hours straight for a family function and with all that drinking and eating, the colour sure faded a little but was still on my lips.

  • If you have dry lips, these will settle into those finelines but its still comfortable and not over drying.

I cannot think of a negative point with these particular shades as they do what they are supposed to.

I so badly wanted to do lip swatches but with this acne i cannot wear any makeup for about a month. But i swatched one shade so here it is.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review. let me know if you would like me to try more shades from this range. your feedback means a lot to me.

Juice Matte Nail Enamel

I have been seeing Juice a lot in the local beautystores lately. They offer a huge variety of colours in nailenamels, from neutrals to bolds to neons. But i never gave it a try until one day, when i saw these matte nailpaints, which too come in  a huge variety of colours. The frosted packaging is something that caught my attention.

These are all the shades that i bought. Lets talk more about them.

First things first, these nailpaints are super duper affordable, thats why i bought a bunch of these. They retail at a price of INR 60 which can be different at different locations because they dont have any MRP mentioned on them.

One thing that i really liked about these nailpaints is that they dry matte but thats not patchy or chalky. In just two coats they give you the proper colour without being streaky and uneven, Thanks to the applicator!

Even the darker shades give a really smooth application.

They dint chip on my for about a week, which is really great.

The only thing that i dint like about these nailpaints is the fragrance which can be strong for a few.

Hope ya'll enjoyed these swatches๐Ÿ’–

Tell me in the comments down below which is your favourite shades and if you have ever tried these?!

CAL los angeles Detail me Mascara Review

Hello everyone,
I hope you all are doing well. so i recieved the cal detail me mascara in one of the subscription boxes a while ago. I have been using it on n off since then. here's what i think about it.

                              Price: INR 450

Claims:
  • Lengthening and voluminising your lashes without clumping.

My Experience:
  • It does add length to your lashes but doesnt add any significant volume.
  • It can clump your lashes after two or three coats.
  • It holds the curl of your lashes throughout the day, which is what i love.
  • It doesnt get dissolved with those makeup removing oils and come right off, instead it comes out in clumps which can be a lil harsh for lashes.
It smells really amazing though.

Do let me know in the comment section below if i should keep my schedule like this?! i mean posting reviews on an alternate basis. Do you guys like it as i do?! do let me know!

So today i will be talking about this micellar water from vivel. Micellar waters have took over the makeup remover's empire ever since they came into existence. They do the job of removing makeup as well cleansing, saving a heck lot of time. Bdw i had no plans on buying this one. I was just searching for a good mosituriser for my oily skin but then i came across this. The packaging is kinda cool so i couldnt skip. lets talk more about this!

                                Price: INR 349

Claims:
  • It gently removes all kinds of makeup including waterproof lip and eye makeup making you skin clean and revived.
  • Alcohol and Oil free
  • Suitable for all skin types

My Experience:

  • I have used it for about 10 times till now. It does the job of removing your face makeup pretty well however i dont see myself using it for my eyes because it causes a little tingling sensation everytime i use it.
  • It is pretty inexpensive for the quantity you get.

It contains panthenol that helps in the regeneration of skin and allantoin leaves your skin mositurised. (Did a little research on the ingredients๐Ÿ˜)

Sebamed Clear Face Deep Cleansing Facial Toner

Hello everyone! i hope you are all doing well.
Today i will be reviewing the deep cleansing facial toner from sebamed's clear face range.

Price: INR 400

Claims:
  • Gently cleanse you skin removing excess sebum, oil and dirt particles.
  • Counteracts the formation of new pimples.
  • Regeneration of skin
  • Calms irritation improving skin's appearance.
  • Mositurise the skin
  • Maintains skin's ph balance providing biological protection against bacteria.

Comes with a manual giving you an insight of the whole range

My Experience:

Well it does live up to its claims to some extent. It deeply cleanses your skin so incase you are unable to get that last bit of makeup or dirt out of your skin, it will do the job for you. It tightens the pores leaving your skin mositurised. It gives a cooling sensation, calming your skin down. My biggest fear was that it would irritate my sensitive skin, but thank god it dint.

It dint help me with any acne issues though. Like i was still getting acne and blackheads, might be some other reason. You might need to bring the whole range into your routine for that, maybe.

Overall, its a good facial toner for oily skin.

Also comment down below if you would like me to review more products from this range.

Ma Earth Botanicals Rose Facial Scrub

Hello everyone!
Today i am going to talk about something that has slowly creeped up in to my favourites and i might think of repurchasing it again.
So i recieved this facial scrub in my september envy box, i guess and its by this brand "Ma".

"Ma" is a brand that i have never been introduced to before, never even heard about it. So i was kind of meh about it when i first saw this. But when i opened the tub i was so much turned on by the fragrance that i had to try it.
It has a really luxourious rose scent and when you take a look at the ingredients, there arent any harsh chemicals used as well. The main ingredients in this scrub are almonds, oats and roses only.
INR 275 for 40gms

The scrub is dry in form and have very noticeable granules in it. You are supposed to take a teaspoon of the scrub and mix it with rose water or milk, whatever you prefer and form a paste. The granules are pretty big but they dint irritate my sensitive skin nor they felt harsh. This scrub is quite gentle on the skin, leaves your skin feeling soft and supple and gives a noticeable glow.

Being quite gentle on your skin, it gets rid of blackheads and whiteheads in just one use. It doesnt even leave your dry after use.

I prefer using it with rose water, sometimes mix it with some fuller's earth to make a face pack, applying for a good 20 mins. It gives an instant glow.

Comment down below if you have heard about this brand or tried this products?! or maybe your favourite scrub at the moment๐Ÿ’– would love to know๐Ÿ’–

NEW LAUNCH: Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Hello everyone,
Its been so long that i have posted a review here. Apologies for that. I have a got a bunch of new launches to talk about and today i will be talking about the one most raved about, "The maybelline lash sensational Mascara".

I was dying to get my hand on this ever since i saw Kaushal Beauty raving about it on her youtube and when i found out that it is launching in India during the amazon fashion week, i dint wanted to wait any longer.

Price: INR 500

I have been using it for almost a week or so, non stop and trust me its worth all the hype. The wand picks up just the right amount of product and does the job of voluminising and curling your lashes in the most perfect way. I like the fact that it doesnt clump your lashes if you do like two or three coats of it. And well if you are a mascara junkie like me or wear it on a daily basis, you must know how some mascara make your lashes look grey or a little dull throughout a day, it does not do that. It stays black and holds the curl throughout the day.

The only thing that i was not happy about is that its really hard to remove. You need that special eye makeup remover for that.

Winding up, i really love this mascara, the packaging, everything๐Ÿ’– Plus its super affordable, like all the other maybelline products.

Do share your thoughts if you have tried this mascara ?! I would love to know. ๐Ÿ’–

Golden double cut crease tutorial

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ’–
Today i'm back with another tutorial and this time its something that even i am doing for the first time. I just really wanted to step out of my comfort zone and do something different from what i usually do. I actually look upto gram for some really cool inspirations and thats where i got this one from.

And before starting the tutorial i just wanted to let you guys know that everyone has different features. The way this turned out on me, it might not turn out the same on you. Makeup is about realising your own features and learning how to enhance them. Im done rambling now, lets get started.

1. I took a brown eyeshadow, a warm brown eyeshadow and gave a slight wash of it on my crease, going in windshield wiper motions.

2. Now that i am satisfied with the crease, i took a concealer and applied that on my lid, thats where we start the cut crease. So you have to paint all your lid with that concealer and make a cat eye with that, going a lil up on the crease.

3. Now taking a black gel liner, i applied that on my outer v, creating an elongated cat eye and bringing that inwards. So you have to bring it in your crease.

4. I covered rest of my lid with a golden eye liner.

5. Blend the golden and black sightly, just so it doesnt look harsh.

6. Taking a little bit of concealer on a concealer brush i cleaned up that lil gap on my crease, just so my crease is nice and defined.

7. Then i applied a thin liner and we are done.

8. You can always go back and correct if you think you have made a mistake and you arenot liking the way it looks. Cut crease is only about being precise with your application.

Face: Maybelline fit me foundation in Natural                Buff, Maybelline fit me concealer in                        Medium, LA Girl pro concealer in                            espresso, Bharat & Dorris loose powder

Blush: Maybelline cheeky glow in Fresh Coral

Lips: Try sugar vivid matte lipstick in peachy                 little liars and Incolor liquid lipstick in 215           on top

I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. Dont forget to comment down below what you think about this look. See you next time ๐Ÿ’–

Cobalt blue eyes tutorial

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ’œ
I hope you are all doing well. Im trying to be really productive this week, posting all the pending posts that i have got lined up for you all.

So this tutorial was supposed to be up about a month ago but unfortunately i lost all the pictures and dint got the chance to do it again. Sad! Fortunately i had a backup of these, which i wasnt aware of, so i thought of posting it now.

I have used two of my palettes and only two eyeshadows for this look. So its super-duper easy. Hope you guys like it.

 1. Apply base/ primer/ concealer whatever you prefer.

2. Next i have used my maybelline nudes pallete and as they dont have any names, you can search for the dopest brown in the palette. Yeaah that one in the second row, second shade from the left. Its such a perfect shade to contour with. I love doing that sometimes.

3. So i applied that colour in my outer v slightly bringing it inwards, kinda going in that windshield wiper motions..

4. Than i popped on that blue shade from the lakme pallete in silver and applied it to my lid. Then blend blend blend.

5. And as you loose some pigment during blending, dont forget to pack on some more and blend again. I applied a little inner corner  highlight as well. And dont forget to smoke out your lower lash liner with some brown and blue as well.

6. Then i applied my liner, masacara and lashes. You know the drill.

7. For lips, i have used a lipliner by incolor in tangerine. You can use whatever nude lipstick you have as we already have so much colour going on the eyes. You can definatelt use some pinky nudes, peachy nudes or brown, whatever you feel like.

And thats about it. This look is super duper easy and with the festival season coming in you can definately try it out if you love a good smokey eye and want to do something other than just basic.

I hope you guys enjoyed this ๐Ÿ’œ if you did dont forget to comment down below what you think about this look. Any suggestions if you have ๐Ÿ’œ would love to hear it.

Soft green smokey eye tutorial

Hey guys!
Today im back with another tutorial for you all. I actually got inspired from a pumpkin, yeah pumpkin to create this look. So i created this really soft green smokey eye using my colorbar eyeshadow crayon in olive. I like the concept of eyeshadow crayons so much. You just need to apply it to your lid, blend a little and your good to go. Let me know if you want a swatch post on the colorbar eyeshadow crayons. I would love to do that.

So now lets get started with the tutorial:

1. Apply a primer or concealer, whatever on your eyes and make sure you are setting it with powder in case you are using a concealer.

2. Then i applied my colorbar eyeshadow crayon in olive on my entire lid. Make sure you are in the lid area only. Dont take it to your crease.

3. Apply a light beige colour as your transition in the crease. I used my maybellime colorshow blush in creamy cinnamon.

4. Applying a warm brown colour on the outer corners, slightly bringing it inwards. I used coloressence matte eyeshadow in em-04.

5. As we have lost some green during all that blending, applying that eyeshadow crayon again on my lids. And blending a lil more with that light beige and you are done.

6. Apply some mascara and kajal to finish off the look. You can definately go ahead and pop on some lashes. I just wasnt feeling it.

7. For lips i used a peachy brown shade just to balance out the look. I used miss claire lip cream in 31.

This is the finished look. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. ๐Ÿ’–

NEW LAUNCH: Colorbar matte nail paints

Colorbar launched a total of 15 shades, 8 mattes and 7 metallics like two months ago. Im really sorry that i have been holding up this for so long but i really dint got the chance to test them out properly and review it for you all.
There was a black as well but its wasnt available

So i picked out two shades from the mattes, one is a  really bold pink and the other one is a soft lilac colour.

And out of all the colours, if you ask me lilac one is my favourite. Rest of the colours are all basic like there was nothing new about them. We want more unique shades! Right ?

                            Price: INR 300 each

1. I must say these are really good quality nailpaints.
2. They dint chip for about a week or so and the applicator is quite good as well.
3. It gives a really smooth application.
4. They dry matte as soon as you apply them.

The only thing that i dint like is that they dont give an opaque colour in one go like you have to apply them twice or thrice just to get the proper colour.

Shade: 002 Pinked

Shade: 003 sweet lilac

Rating: 4/5

Keep supporting ๐Ÿ’– it really means a lot to me ๐Ÿ’–

Cranberry soft smokey eye

Hello people,
I hope you are all doing well. Sorry for being MIA but my skin is being really rude to me lately so i thought of hibernating for sometime. Hehe!
Its doing a lot better right now but the rebel is still on, so i just sit back and relax binge watching youtube videos.
Everyone on youtube is so ready for fall and this got me excited as well. The colour that comes to my mind whenever i think about fall is cranberry. So i thought of creating a cranberry smokey eye, keeping it soft not overly dramatic.
I started looking at my stash to find the colour that i want you know some wine cranberry sort of shade but couldnt find any. Sad! But nothing can stop me ๐Ÿ˜œ
So i went ahead and used a matte lipstick. Hehe!
You know there are no rules to makeup and that lipstick served so well as an eyeshadow crayon.
Lets start with the tutorial now ๐Ÿ’œ
1. Apply any eyeshadow base, if you have and if you dont have it, you can surely get started with a concealer but dont forget to set it. I used my loreal base magique primer though.

2. For the next step i applied my faces matte lip crayon in starry red. Its a really pretty shade. I applied it on the centre of my lid and with a blending brush i blended it a lil upwards and brought a lil to the inner corners as well.

3. Took a light beige colour and defined my crease with it. I used maybelline nudes palette.

4. Then i took a warm brown shade and focused on the outer corners of my eye. I used coloressence eyeshadow in EM-4.

5. Blend the cranberry and brow shade together just so there are no harsh lines.

6. As we lost a lot of that cranberry shade during blending. I took a lil more and pack it on my eye.

7. Then i applied a really thin liner, popped on some lashes and mascara and voila! We are done.

8. Then i did my base, concealer and a lil  bronzing. You know the drill.

9. For blush i used my bellapiere blush in suede and for highlight i used incolor blush symphony. I used everything from the same colour family, monotonous you know.

10. For lips, i wanted to keep it subtle so at first i applied that cranberry shade as a slight tint. You know just gently packing the colour but i dint like the way it turned out so i applied MAC Mehr on top. Its my favourite all time shade.

This is the final look. I hope you all like it. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
Dont forget to comment down below what you think about this look ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน your comments mean a lot to me. ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน

Fall glam RiRi inspired

Hello people! ๐Ÿ’–
I hope you all are doing well. So did you watch the VMAs this time ?!
It was a blast. Rihanna performed four times and each and every performace of hers was bomb. And her makeup artist is so talented, i love her makeup all the time. So today the look im going to recreate is what she wore when she accepted the Michael Jackson vanguard award, which is a lifetime achievement award. How cool is that ๐Ÿ’–
Isnt she on point ?! And that dark lip though.
So she was seen wearing a smokey eye and a dark lip. Not that crazy with highlighters.
So now i ll just try to recreate it. You guys will have to tell me if i did it the right way.

Eyes:
1. I used my fit me concealer as a base and then patting on some beige colour just so my concealer is set.
2. Starting with the crease, i took my maybelline blush in creamy cinnamon and starting working it in my crease. Starting from the outer corner to the inner.
3. Then i took another blush and as both of these blushes are matte, they work pretty well as a transition shade too. So i used my bellapiere blush in suede and worked that in my crease as well. Just to give a nice transition.
4. Used the coloressence matte eyeshadow in EM-4 and focused it in the outer corners and then swiping some on the crease as well.
5. Took out my maybelline eyeshadow and used the brown colour in the second row to deepen up the crease a bit more. And we are done.
6. Almost done. Hehe! Took the two brown shades in an angular brush and smoked out my lower lash line as well.
7. Using a kajal, i used maybelline colossal, i lined my upper and lower water line and then popped on some lashes and done.

You can actually wear this eyelooks with so many different lip colours. It will go with everything.

Face:
1. Nivea post shave balm as primer
2. Lakme absolut blur perfect primer
3. Maybelline fit me foundation in natural buff
4. Bharat and dorris loose powder in No 3
5. Maybelline fit me concealer in medium
6. La girl pro concealer in Espresso
7. Revlon highlighting in peach glow

Lips: Chambor extreme wear matte lipstick in Earthy red. I found this colour somewhat similar to her lipstick.

So this is the finished look. I hope you all like it. Dont forget to comment down below of what you think about this look. Would mean a lot.๐Ÿ’–
